Observations/ And New Shaft

Well got the drive shaft back today My Brother Jamie did a fine job hooking me up
I pulled the out shaft out two weeks ago and wow what a difference in cab noise things sure did get quite with out the factory drive shaft howling all the time Installed new shaft tonight and while I had the girl jacked up swapped the wheels and tires around to see if I could get rid of the my steering wheel shimmy, Took her for a test drive and what A difference no more shimmy and with the new shaft the cab is almost as quite as with now shaft of corse I am still getting a little noise fron the twin stick but no where near as much as before Want to thank everyone for the help with all the simple questions but you know thats why we join these groups to help solve the little problems and help each other out so thanks all

I remember when I got my new front shaft after my 6" suspension lift.. the front end was silent.. wasn't even sure if 4x4 was engaged haha.. and there was no vibration at my feet... glad to see you had the same outcome with yours!

Nice!! So...how do you like those allen heads!?!?!???? hahaha...friggin' hated those things. Thank you small headed flanged hex heads I found in Seattle at Ace!

Actually was not that bad had a ole allen wrench that I had cut down for something else thing for the harley and it woorked like a charm used a small pc of another and 5/16" wrench to snug them down nice and tight over all not as bad as i frist thought when I climded underneath

HAHAHA!! That's like exactly what I did! Cut up an allen wrench into a short piece, then used an open end wrench to tighten 'em all down. Pain in the butt because both my shaft to adaptor used allens, and the adaptor to output used allens. But...that's all changed now. Got tired of it taking an hour to remove a freakin' driveshaft!!! lol.

Wow, didn't even know they used allens. Makes me glad I have the 8mm bolts in mine.

I just got hex head flange bolts for my dshaft. EFF those allen heads!
