Can I use the stock fog switch w/ KCs??

I'm planning on installing a couple KCs on my truck, and want to lose the lower valence w/ the foglites. If I go ahead and wire up correctly the KCs with relay, 14 or 12ga wire....Am I able to run the stock fog switch??? Will it handle it??? Is there a better way to be able to run stock?? If not, oh well, I'll make a switch panel.

The stock fog switch can handle the relay for the KC's. BUT it works by grounding the relay coil instead of by switching the hot side (like a KC switch does).

So would I be able to wire this thing up w/ the stock switch working by grounding the relay coil instead of by switching the hot side. Honestly, i'm a little confused.

Yes, you can:

If you wire it like this ^^^, it will come on whenever both the ignition switch and the foglamp switch are on.

You also have the option of using the parking lamp wire (brown) as the positive for the relay coil (instead of the keyed 12V to pin 85 as shown). That would give you KCs whenever the headlights or parking lights are on AND the switch is on.

Or ... it would also be easy to trigger the relay off the high beams only if you want it that way.
