Yellow Xenon H3 Bulbs?

I was working on the truck today & noticed that I need to paint the housings on my fog lights (aftermarket lights in stock location) and I thought while I had the lights off I might swap the old clear H3 halogen bulbs for some new H3 xenon bulbs...

Then....I ran across some Yellow H3 xenon bulbs on evilBay & I thought it would be nice to have this set (aftermarket lights in stock location) of lights throw yellow light & my new set mini fog/driving lights with blue/white H3 xenon bulbs.

Has anyone used yellow xenon bulbs?
Do they actually output yellow light or do they look basically the same as the blue H3 xenon bulbs?

Thanks

Are you reffering to a an HID system (which uses xenon bulbs) or those halogens with colored glass that are falsely marketed as xenon?

I have them and they do look yellow. Its cool on snowy roads at night but in the daytime they look light yellow. I am getting yellow HID fog foights which are around $80.00 on ebay, they are deeper yellow and brighter.

I would, but I'm too cheap to spend the $$$ for real HID's

I didn't want to spend the $80 each for OEM fogs to replace my broken ones... the lights I have now are $10 each WallyWorld specials.

That's what I was hoping.
The set I saw was 5000k yellow, about $10 a pair shipped.

I had an old set of fogs that had yellow lenses & reflectors but used clear H3 bulbs. They looked cool on snow... until somebody broke them.

I guess I should start calling them Halogen (xenon look-a-like) H3 bulbs

most of the listings state "H3 Xenon Gas HID Headlight bulbs".
I know for $10 they won't be true xenon, but as long as they look pretty close to the real thing.

Anything is an improvement... My old lights are turning yellow on their own.

Really?

Do you remember where you found them?

My local Ford Stealership wanted $40 just for one lens, not including the housing or bulb.

Yeah those HID 'bulbs' are garbage, my friends bought them and they're worse than stock.
