Im wanting to add the triangular wind wing windows to my truck if possible. I have a 1992 ranger. Im wondering if a older ranger door would bolt into place on my truck. Or if the hardware for the wind wings are possible to transfer over and install on my door itself. I believe the older doors didnt have door speakers did any of the doors when speakers were installed on them have wind wings as an option?

 

1983 to 1988 doors would have the same body lines, and these years did come with wind wings

1989-1992 doors may have different body lines, as there was a body design change, and wind wings were dropped
Just look at pictures of body lines, they look the same

But as for fitment, 1983 to 1992 doors are interchangeable, and regular cab and extended cab used the same doors, so that doesn't matter

Your current interior door panels "should" fit on older doors, depending on power or manual windows

Wind wings were dropped when AC became more a common/affordable option in 1989, also cheaper for car makers to build
