Im trying to buy a powedome hood and what are options as to where I can get one from, and I know search JY's but what else? And I searched car parts.com, is "raised hood(plastic/fiberglass)" the powerdome?

Yup....'raised' hood fiberglass would be the 01-03 Powerdome.

Somewhat pretty hard to find a good shape one for a decent price. They aren't avaliable in the aftermarket.

Junkyards or craigslist or ebay are your only options really....or here. Too bad you're in Florida, my little brother has a perfect shape one for sale right now.

well I found one on carparts around me for 125, whats a good price for one in decent shape?

I plan on doing the powerdome with an 06 grille and mod the powerdome like RangerExtreme did to his.

 

125 is a great price. Prices vary sooooo much at yards. They typically want upwards of $350 at my local yards that have them in perfect shape.

Ok cool, I hope it really is a powerdome and its in decent shape...Ill call them tomorrow and maybe pick it up...its in white too

 

so i just called them and they say its in perfect condition, going to go pick it up in a couple hours and should definatly have it on by today

So I picked it up and got it on. Its not in perfect condition but its pretty good but it could use some wet sanding a new clear coat...At the junk yard it a stupid bra on it and under the bra it was full of dirt so thats why it looks like that in the first pic.
