Seem to be batting 0-2 for far.

Got this grill because the dude told me it would fit an 01' ranger.

As you can see in the pictures it doesn't fit my grill surround at all. It's just too large.

What year would this be for?






On a side topic would this grill fit my surround... it appears that it would because the bottom tabs are correct... though this one has two on the side and mine only has one... The top looks a little different as well. but couldn't that be modified to fit in the stock surround?

That last one is a 4x4/edge grille, will fit your truck just gotta get the surround for it as well

 

What year Ranger do you have ?

I think only an ’01-’03 Grille will fit.

The top one I believe is 04-up, not sure of the exact year.

Thanks for posting this I have been thinking on an 05 STX Grille insert but from your pics it WILL NOT fit.

As sated by evilclown312 the grille you want is a Honeycomb grille from an edge, there are always some of them in the JY, keep looking.
Most of them have a grey powdery coating but a little scotchbrite and fine sandpaper will get it ready for some paint. Use an Adhesion Promoter before painting and use the same brand of paint as Promoter.

One thing, paint the area behind the grille black if not already done, it will give the grille the best look; I didn’t do it and now have to take it apart AGAIN !
