Home made console for in between the shifter and bench seat... took me three days to make it. Plywood construction wrapped in duck cloth. Stapled the hell outta it to make sure the covering stays in place, and also made sure there were extra nails holding the pieces of plywood together...
Also home made antenna bracket. Yeah, that 2.5 pound piece of steel shown in the metal fab section.
Speaking of the antenna bracket... it's now bolted to the tool box. Next up, finding some short to medium length braided ground straps to ground the tool box, bed, cab, fenders, exhaust, and hood to the frame.

Just interested in seeing it.

I have since stained it, and poly'd it. I picked up some canvass from a locla fabric store that is a dead nuts match to the interior. Just gotta put it on it...
wow, since doing those seats, in May, I have 70,500 miles on the ranger....
Oh and I changed my steering wheel, mine was REALLY crappy... beat up bad... bought a new leather wrapped, off ebay for like $70 shipped out of an 07. The connectors for the airbag, as well as the bottom of the airbag compartment of the steering wheel, is different than my 04. Sooo... Some slight modification had to be done to make it work.

Here ya go... if you look closely, you can see the 'gasket' I made from a junk tractor tire inner tube. Due to the diamond tread pattern, a good seal is necessary to keep water out of the box. I might trim the excess rubber away at some point.
Yes, I will need to install a ground strap on this mount to ground it to the tool box really well, since that gasket is in the way.
And forgot to get some pics of the console... be right back...
Here is the console... yes, it clears the shifter. The duck cloth is pretty close in 'brightness' if you will, of the stock gray interior cloth. It was fun making this thing. Kind of a PITA to upholster it though. The armrest/lid is removable, so if I find myself going on a road trip, off road adventure, or something like that where I plan on using the cb a lot, I can loosen three screws and pull it right off.
