The gloss black part in the first pic is half of the square cross tube of the cut down Econoline hitch. As you can see, the original angled shape of the hitch forms a brace from the frame rails to the center part of the tow hook cross plate. The vertical bolt in the first picture is longer than stock and mounts through a boss welded to the hitch and then into the factory hook. Much of the center section of the tow hook cross plate is also welded to the hitch but that doesn't show in the picture. So, the tow hook cross plate and the tow hooks themselves are directly tied to the hitch.

dixie air horns! yep, inspired from the "dukes of hazzard" (maybe thats why i also have a black grille guard) bought the horn setup in '87 or '88, had it in my first car, then a jeep CJ7, then they sat for 10 years or so until a nearby neighbor got a set in his explorer and was always "hitting the horn" when he went by, i dug them out of storage and put them in my ranger, his horns are brand new, but mine sound better and are louder than his. it was funny the first time he went by & hit his horns, then i fired right back with mine. i remember when i got them (through j.c whitney) i was deciding between the dixie horn setu p or the 133 db train horn kit, i wanted the train horn simply because the ad for it said "check local noise abatement laws before ordering", i dont know how loud the dixie horn set is, but i went with it mostly because of price, i think they were a $60 set then, the train horn kit was about $120. i have no idea what they run now, heck i dont even know if j.c. whitney even exists anymore.

I have a one of a kind vin. Does that count. Haha
Also I was the first and only one to have this particular projector in a ranger for a couple weeks then a second person did it so now I'm 1 of 2 with this mod
Fx-r projectors. Actually I have a different Version than the other person so I guess that it would be unique.
