I have a 1985 Ford Ranger that I just started sanding yesterday but I can't decide on a color.
Any ideas

 

Burnt Orange with black mustang bullit rims

 

I looked at burnt orange its a ok color. May I ask why burnt orange

 

i dont know why, ive always liked that color on certain vehicles. it give a modern touch to the older styles because that color wasnt really around back when they were made. if your not liking that idea, black never fails!

 

Sonic blue!

id pick up 6 cans of krylon ultra flat, o.d. getting played out so go with khaki or somethin

I'd go old school and go with eddie bauer black w/gold

i like that steel blue from back then. that with a tan interior or a grey interior would be t!t$ man!

It would help to see the truck, and kinda know what direction your going with it. Is it going to be a stock restoration, lifted pavement pounder, pre runner, mud bogger, hot rod, slammed/bagged? All that would kinda change what I thought would look awesome on your truck. Also as others have stated, the I'd take the interior colors into consideration too.
