TJM Bumper Question

Will a TJM bumper designed for a 93-96 work on a 99???

^^^ that one isn't TJM, TJM looks like ARB like the other truck

yeah, I google searched TJM ranger bumper, and came up with that


more I read (after posting) it came clear that it was a trailready

yeah, thats a 93-96 bumper




basically, your lower part of the grill is in the way and you need custom bumper mounts


for that price, find a local 4wd fab shop to make you a one-off bumper

yeah Trailready, I can never remember the name.


and to answer the original question. Anything can be made to work with a welder but it isn't just going to bolt up.

I am not afraid to cut the grille if its tight, that's not a big deal. As long as it mounts up to the frame, I can make the rest happen.

you probably going to have to cut the mounts on it now and make new ones, then put it below your grill and if you can live with the gap under the headlights then your done but it won't look right.

because look at the gap on the mazda under the headlights, yours will be bigger since your grill does this \___/ in the middle instead of being straight

it looks like the TJM for the 02-up Explorer has a provision for the grill in it.......

As a future reference for others, the 02-up Explorer TJM Bumper fits everywhere but the wheel opening (angle is different).
