The time has come for a BL..... your thoughts

So I have decided that I need a BL. And I am curious as to why there is a difference in the PA and the summit version of the set up.

PA

Summit

The brackets are slightly different. But everything should be good to go correct?

Will I need the shift extension with either of these kits and my only other question is I am rolling on 265/75/16s I know I will be able to go bigger but should I go bigger or should I roll with what I have for now.

Thanks for the words of wisdom guys.

from what i've heard, there is no difference between the 2 kits.. just different names.

Theres nothing different, its been posted a hundred times. Same kit, different boxes. You will need a shift extension if you have a manual regardless of what kit you get. 265 is about the same as a 32x10.5, IMO it doesn't look too bad.

I dont think the picture is showing all the parts. The PA kit doesnt show the bumper brackets or the bed supports. I got the PA and had all those parts so yeah, either one is fine.

do not go off those pics there general pics not kit specific that top one doesnt even look like a 98+ kit it looks like the 93-94 kit... and the lower one is missing parts in the pic...

the only thing i have found different is the summit kit didnt come with the e-brake brackets but being i have never even installed them with the kit that came with its ok

the PA kit picture isnt a picture of the actual kit, where as the summit one is

I put the Summit kit for a 98-00 on my 2002. Fuel neck extension and vent line were the only things wrong.

I say you get one Ory. Its a kit at a great price.

Your tires will look great... I think Pauls looks good. In the event that you are not liking the way your tires look you can sell the ones you have now and buy bigger ones.

With the experience that Paul has installing his I am sure we could get it knocked out in 5-6 hours.

Get the summit. While ordering your summit, go ahead and order your Hurst at the same time.

GO! DO WORK!

Ory, you know how I feel about this. I told you yesterday. Do work. Sell your tires now for 4 bills and get 33's.

The picture of the PA kit is for a 93-97 ranger, the bumper brackets shown are what my 93 has.
