been thinking of getting camper top but i need a new tailgate handle first my stock one has been broken for years. anybody have reviews on any after market tailgate handle with lock?

I bought my pop and lock at the dealer because i didn't want any problems.

Don't make the same mistake. Buy it on your own, and make sure it's greased properly, or it'll seize quickly (lol).

Wish they could have made it look better (like, covering the handle to make it look oem), but it does the job. To my knowloedge, there are no aftermarket handles+lock kits, i would have bought that :)

 

I used to have an electric Pop 'n Lock tailgate lock in my truck... no issues with it at all.
