Brenda Brenda Brenda. lol. Didn't wanna pull up the carpet/vinyl?? I could make a how-to vid for you. It's super easy. And when its done, you wont even notice the vinyl has been lifted.
No silocone should have been needed.......even if you did pull those bolts, no water would get in the cab because there's a booton the floor. Plus any truck that doesn't have the bars dont have any water issues as everything is sealed.
Here's a pic of Marie's bodylift install.....which is essenciall what you'd be doing with the carpet/vinyl...folding it over, popping off the rubber boot/seal, right there's your front body mount, then just sorta weave the bracket w/ studs out of there. SOOOO easy and makes it not hell to buyer of those bars.
