Rust Repair A Pillars (and elsewhere)
When I bought the the truck the previous owner had screwed a cab bill with the lights into the roof with plain old wood screws and no sealant. This resulted in some pretty bad rot in the cab.The rust is slow moving, but it keeps getting worse and worse. I would like to stop it once and for all, but I don't really know what my options are. Over the years I have taken the truck to several different body shops and most people wont even touch the truck. Most tell me either to scrap the truck or replace the entire cab. I figured I would reach out to yall on here and see if you had any ideas on an effective way to fix the rust so I could get her repainted. A cab swap would be nice, but around here the same year is hard to come by, and even if I do find one it is usually pretty trashed.
