ok i figured out a few ways to get around removing the hooks.. involves welding and bending and new metal and alot trail and error...
but now i do not plan on buying this bar at all.. one pic of it shows a rounded bottom bar but in the install photo is flat.. ewy... damn looks like i am getting a more expansive gorhino 3000 center bar

I suggest getting the aluminum one. Less weight and it wont rust. Poweder coating is great, but ALOT of stuff's powder coating sucks. Its exepnsive to have a GOOD powder coat job done...
The WAAG bars made for the Rangers are painted. And mine is rusting right along the rubber. I have yet to figure out how to get the rubber off and then back on after I blast the bar.... So far I have been using 'stop rust' I know, Off topic but still relevant.
Maybe you guys can do a group buy to get them cheaper.
