Picked Up A Present From The GF

Went over to my girlfriends house the other night on my way home to pick up this. Its my birthday present from her:

I had this made a few months ago and its just been sitting, waiting to be used

Its nice. Gives me 2 additional 2" receivers, that way I don't loose a spot when its on the truck.

Mounted up

Its a Gorilla Winch, 8,000lbs. I've read good reviews about them, the worst thing is a slow pull line, which is fine, I'm not using this every weekend and won't be doing any rockcrawling with it, so I'll be fine with it.

Now I have the itch to go wheeling and get stuck. Only one way to try it out.

I know it sits low, but when I get a complete free weekend I'm ripping the front end off again, and modifying the hitch so it sits up higher.

Sure does love me. Well, she went to the casino and won so I won too. Hehe. Nothing wrong with a headunit. I'm rather fond of the stock one (it is a 6 CD unit, even though I barely use it anymore due to XM).

So does/did mine. Just takes time, she'll get use to it. And when she does, thats when the gifts for the truck starts.

Remember your Class III receiver is only rated to 5,000lb.

Considering his truck probably weighs just under 5K with all that stuff on there, I'm sure it will be fine. It's not like he's pulling a tank.
