need to re-paint reg cab long bed

as title exclaims, i need to repaint my ranger, im thinking a metalic electric blue, and i wanted to know how much paint i needed? its a Reg cab with a 7' bed, how many gallons of base coat, paint, and clear should i expect to buy?

id say 2 gallons of base and 3 of clear

Woah, we're talking GALLONS here?

You need a QUART to do the outside of the bed.
Reduced will give you a QUART and a half.

Do one coat primer, block it. Throw the second coat on.
One coat color, wet sand out, then second coat.
then one heavy coat of clear.

im doing the entire truck, she's been tipped on her side, and she scratched to hell. she's a 5 tone red when i got her, so im thinking im doing some justice here, but if i do pay $60 a gallon just for the color, she will be a mud virgin....
so about 1.5 gallons of color?
