It's all personal preference, some people like forward and others like back. It doesn't matter too much with Nathans really, since they are so loud. But really the best way to face them is so the opening in the bells face straight down since that is supposed to make them the loudest and even sounding in any direction.

i got my K3LAs mounted where my gas tank used to be so that wont help you any...
id just be careful putting those under the truck like that will screw up the paint but if your not worried about that then go for it..
id get them as much out of sight as you can because its only 4 bolts and they can be stolen quick! id make it a PAIN to get them out..figure somethingout if you can get to the top of the bolts tac weld them on or something they sell bolts that when they tighen the strip out and you gotta cut them its a pain on your end but if somebody trys to steal then its fine..
what are you using for air? tanks? compressors? your going to want BIG i can tell you that..or your compressors will be running like crazy
you should of bought mine! ive got htem for sale!!!
no Nathan manifold? eh lol you can find those on ebay every once and a while for like 100 bucks..
since they arent all together you can seperate and put them all over the truck..wont mess with the sound to much

Just finished ordering up my 1/2in air solenoid (Blitzluft) for $35 shipped off eBay.
Horns get here tuesday
New Glowshift 200psi 7 color LED gauge is already here...
I'm hoping by friday I'll have everything all done and pics! I'll take a before and after video of the horns and air valve differences!

They're just plain BA... Not many people have real train horns on their trucks...
Chris... Here's an idea:
I drilled out the pattern for the horn base to 3/4in and put a 5/8 bolt, 1.5in long through all 4 holes and used a hole saw and cut out that area on the base for the fittings.. I think it was a 1.5in hole saw.
Just lettin you know..
