Scrambler82 thanks for the reply. Reading on another forum someone posted ford stop installing them on Edge, and 4x4 models after build date 12/02. Ford also stopped putting full size wheel well splash guards on drivers side. Was your mud flaps factory or add ons thanks.

My Flaps/Flares are OEM... I am trying to figure out the best way to attach the OEM Flares to the Stepside Fenders; they look a little off.

The Mud Flaps were straight up designed for the Rear of the Rangers, assuming they are all the same, so maybe I should say, designed for the rear of the EDGE... !

I can remember they went on one way on the rear, the fronts were more universal.

I purchased a set of Ford Mud Flaps from a dealer in the Northeast before moving to SoCal, these have Ford on them in script, haven't added them yet.

Search for Obsolete Ford Parts, there are a few Site that might help you out !

That's what took me so long to get back to you.Checked three ford dealers in my area, all said obsolete. Same with online Tasca parts ,Autonation ford white bear lake.Found right front mud flap on ebay. Part numbers for brackets and mud flaps are different for trucks with fender flares.Part numbers for flare trucks are brackets right 1L5Z-16264-AAA left 1L5Z-16265-AAA. Mud flap right 1L5Z-16A550-AAB left 1L5Z-16a550AAC. These are all for the front.

so you know of and have tried the On-Line Ford Obsolete Parts Houses... the only options beyond that are... JY's, find something, repair if necessary. This can work if you like doing that kind of work. I retired a lotto fiberglass pieces, even my grille shell cracked and had to be re-glassed and cleaned up ! The second things is buy reproductions if available, LMC and places like it !

As our truck get older the options for OEM Parts go down hill fast.

Luck on your search !

I've tried searching that site after your post. Couldn't find that exact one. Found Henry's Parts Depot, and the likes.Put in part numbers no match. Thinking these sites are for Vintage Fords.Hoping a member that has removed theirs will reply. From my search no repos will fit with fender flairs. Maybe the cheapos that fall off when it gets cold. There are plenty that fit without the flairs.

Post up when you find something.

Good Luck !

Added: I was just out searching the Web, there are a lot of Mud Flaps/Splash Guards, out there, just nothing states mounting with Flares.
Funny, you can search on 2004 EDGE, which would have Flares, but nothing else.
I just got an idea, I should use my VIN to search one of these Ford Obsolete Houses... LoL !

Added 2: No luck, funny how things disappear.

Thank, I have both the front and rear EDGE Flares, The front have always been on and the rears were taken off the Styleside Bed but have never been put on the Steppie Bed.
Not sure how I like then or not AND the fenders don't have holes for the flares... FORD must have used 10 holes in each fender... PITA to mark them and get a good fit.
Probable won't use them soon but I have them just on case.

I don't know for absolute... but I believe the Ranger Rear Wheel Openings are the same in all Rangers; my Steppie Bed is a '97 manufactured, and my EDGE Rear Flares, '03 Styleside EDGE, fit the opening !
Even the fronts may be the same from 2001 on, now if RonD would come in I am sure he has the lasted dope on it !

If they line up then they fit . Ranger didn't have Edge model in 97. Only thing I'am finding for Flareside wheel wells are Stone Guards.

True, but they did have a Splash !
I know this is in that year range because it doesn't have a Spare Tire Crank Hole !
Not sure but I'm thinking '1998 the Crank Type Tire Lift came in !

I haven't used the Tire Lift since I put the Steppie Bed on my '03 Chassis.

Found both brackets, and the right mud flap on e bay.Left one sold out.Looks like I can flip right side over and make it work on left side . Ford/Ranger is not printed on them.If you get time would you look at yours ang let me know what you think. No big hurry. They start spraying tar and spreading gravel, around June. That's Virginia's paving. Did you check out the site i gave you?

Talk to me, what are you interested in me looking at ?

Good you found some the pieces.

I didn't see the Site... make a link next time, they show up differently and USUALLY you can't miss them !

I went back and found "Hagg Ford Sales Parts", I'll look at it.

Tar and Gravel, nice enough, I wish the county here would do that to my road but no way. The road I live off of is 2 miles to my house all un-kept dirt... no one on the road want to do anything other than drive around the ruts.
Thinking if someone put tar down no matter what they put on it, someone else would complain about the ECO System, gotta love SoCal !

I went to "Haag Ford Sales Parts"Site, and it is the same as all of the Parts Houses.
I plugged my VIN and got nothing found !
I looked for Mud Flaps, and got noting found.
I didn't look for Flares.

Must be the way I'm doing it !

Keep looking for the left Mud Flap, you are having better luck than I am !
