Lights I can use as fog lights.
After trying two sets of aux lighting on my Ranger, I have officially become lost. Right now, I want to do a fog light setup on both trucks. I want to be able to run them with my head lights without blinding oncoming cars. A friend of mine said something about replacing the bulbs in the lamps I have in my garage with a bulb numbered something like 4111 or something like that.
Just curious if there is an actual light that I could get that isn't bright as hell to apply to both trucks. A complete kit would be nice for my Dodge, as it doesn't have the factory fog lamp switch. Not necessary for the Ranger.
I've done a ton of searching on Google, but all I find are lights that should only be used along with the high beams. I just want something to light up the road directly in front of me during the night and wet mornings, as I have terrible night vision.
Any help is appreciated!
Also, for anybody that has a junk yard near them with a gen 2 ranger with the factory fog lamps, brackets, and valance, I would appreciate a PM. I've looked for months, and can't find anything!

get yourself some hella 500 fog lamps. strange as it seems, my 100 watt hellas do not blind people because the lights have a sharp cutoff which projects the beam directly in front of the vehicle. and is for use with the low beams NOT the high beams.
i'm running amber hella's and they are superb.
