Lightning style exhaust or no?

Im thinking about choping the tips off and welding on 2 turndowns.

It will clean up the look slightly, and give me room for sliders in the future.

So.....whachuguysthink?

A picture with a little more truck in it lol.

Im torn. It will be one less thing to clean, and leave me room for rock sliders.

But I like 'em

I agree. I need to start murdering my tires.
But its hard to kill a michelin.

"Honey, its time for new tires"

I get lots of compliments and my exhaust setup. I dont see this setup or anything similar at all around these parts.

Thats the big thing urging me to cut them off. I WANT SLIDERS.

I thought about custom making them to fit around the exhaust, but then whats the point? My pipes would get ripped right off if the sliders were ever put to use.

I'd keep them for now then. your bumper isn't done yet, so the sliders will be a while haha.

I would only be cutting off the tips.

But when/if I do cut them off, ill cut it off right after the muffler and leave the bent pipe welded to the tips.

omg what is that hideous garbage on your door!?!?!??

Exhaust? I prefer side exhaust on stock or lowered trucks. If BL'd, side pipes don't quite work right. Looks pretty sweet on my friend dadangerranger's spindled edge tho! Single pipe tho. But if BL'd, out the back kicked out the side behind the wheel is the way to go.

I just wish I could pull off actually having tips. lol. BL + hitch + shackle prevents that. I'd LOVE to run my buddy's old 6.4L tips on my truck.

That is the result of me NOT wanting to have my clear coat and paint re-done.
It will look better when I finish all of the rockers.

Leave them until you are ready to install your sliders.

I'm torn. I have exhaust similar to that, although tips are turned a different way. I'm probably getting rid of mine since I will also be getting sliders, that and I hate cleaning them. I wish I could bring back the shine
