Soooooo since my last post I've been quite busy!...For starters I've gotten rid of those ugly blue led strips in my headlights, which might make a few people happy haha. But, anyways I guess I will just list off what I've been doing to it and show a few pictures(there will be more to come).
Interior:
I traded my Alpine Type R 12inch sub for two 8inch Rocksford Fosgate subs in a nice sealed truck box(they are much more fitting for my regular cab set up and sound so tight compared to the 12, and plus..I stopped being interested in shaking my truck to pieces after a week of having my Type R haha)
For the doors, I took out the stocks and replaced them with a pretty decent pair of 3 way Pioneer 6x8s and installed a pair Power Acoustik NB4 tweeters on the doors as well.
(all this is still ran by my existing Sony Deck, and Sony do-do Amp)
I also did the throttle cable mod, which is the best 2 cents and 5 minutes I've ever spent.
Exterior:
I repainted my wheels so that everything is black besides the lip, which makes them look a lot cleaner IMO.
While I was paint happy I decided to go ahead and get rid of the ugly grey on the rear and front bumper with a some Satin Black Krylon Fusion(Krylon Fusion Rocks )
After painting the bumpers I suddenly realized how fugly my handles were so I coated them with a couple hefty layers of Plasti-Dip as a quick fix until they are permeantly done with Krylon Fusion as well.
Then I made a custom grill out of some material I found at my local Lowes...Just cut it out with some tip snippers and attached it with some hardcore zip ties.
I finally got rid of the pin strip(which was a pain, it was crazy dry rotted) and mud flaps, touched up the nasty rub spots left behind.
The corners got baked and painted...the same day I decided to de-badge my rear ford emblem(there are three holes behind it but...mehhh I think it looks cleaner...I will eventually have them welded and such but, thats for when it gets fresh paint sometime off in the distant future.)
Night time driving sucked...soo I picked up a pair of cheap 55watt driving lights and just mounted them to the bumper...I probably should of just been patient and ordered some nice light tabs but, whatever
My Headlights are also modded and my ranger emblems are blacked out(but thats old news, from back in January)
Failed mods
Taillight mod: I don't have the patience(dremel maybe?)
Painted inlays on my Shift ****: I don't have the patience.
Sooo here are a few pictures...I know its not a lot right now, I'll post more up and if anyone would like to see a picture of anything specific just ask!
What do you think? Better or worse?
Reference Photo(This was back in January)
This is the picture from my post back in January(for some kind of reference)
A picture from a few weeks ago...Pre Bumper Paint and such!
Installing the new lights! The bumper is painted and everything in this picture, I will snap a few better ones tomorrow.

and that's actually something I'm considering...I've been torn on wether to lower it or lift it haha
For the moment I like the black caps...But, I Plasti-diped them so I could go back and peel it off incase I wanted chrome caps again (I'm an indecisive person)
Thanks!!
They are just some like 25 dollar strips that I bought at Auto Zone a long time ago...While I was doing the headlight mod I put them in, drilled a hole to run the wires and sealed it up with black cocking..after that I just wired them to a switch under the dash..not very hard at all!
Thanks!!
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
