I gotta few goodies today

After noticing that my toolbox was eating the crap outta my bedrails I ordered some bedrail caps. Should also help keep the bedrails from getting dented any worse.

But when I was ordering the bedrail caps I noticed the Anchor-tracks. And with as often as I'm trying to strap stuff down, they made sense. I can remove the tiedown part and move it where ever. Put them all on one side or what ever need may be. Only ordered 4 of the tiedowns though.

you can also put some 3M rubber underneath of the toolbox that will help prevent that also

That box you found is a killer deal, and they are worth it even at full price IMO.
The bedrail caps were $150 from a local truck shop. The anchor tracks were smae price range. I did have to have the anchor track rails cut down a lil bit though, because of how the bedbox mounts.

The sticky foam stuff was on the box to begin with. It was spaced to wide and when I figured it out it was down to the bare metal.

99offroad.. ther is a way of having a tool box and ur bed rails.. cut the rails and mount it to the front of the box.. like get a plate of steel x2 make it square or circle then either weld on a piece of tubing (tad smaller or bigger then the rails) about an inch - inch and a half then the rails will be supported at the front end by the toolbox and the other end in the box hole. The rails will also prevent the toolbox from sliding around

I did that on my '89 F-150.. it looks good too. If the toolbox is plastic screw that plate on.. if its metal box drill and bolt and to make sure water doesn't get into the box from the bolt holes silicone the holes

I really like that anchor tracks thing. I end up having to use my tonneau cover frame as a tie down point sometimes when I cant reach the corner tie downs or stake pockets.

I was mistaken. It was $125 for the bedrail caps. They are DeeZee Brand.

We have had the anchor tracks on 2 other trucks in the past, and they were super handy. What I really like is that You can remove these ones. Do a search and you'll see quite a few different brands of them. All of them have a lil different tie down ring.

I've allready used them twice today lol. You can ussually get away with just the 4 tiedowns in the corners. But once you add the toolbox your screwed.

Shane I found this link, goona have to hunt through the site to find the right legnth track though
http://www.macscustomtiedowns.com/ca...saTieTrackKits

They arent the ones I have though. I'll look over mine in the morning and see if I can find any name or logo on them. All my reciept says is anchor track and that doesnt help me much with finding a link.
