Ok Johnny. I haven't foudn the pictures of the actual headlights installed on my truck. But here's a set exactly like mine, installed on a CLEAN 98-2000 Ranger. WIsh the chrome on my truck looked that good!

He doesnt have HID's yet I don't think. I know he was wanting to get them, but hadn't got them yet.

No problem freddie. I understand about the cold. Not in a big hurry anyway. I can only imagine hitting a finger or something in that cold. Take your time.

Johnny you know what my HIDS looked like in my stock housings you were in front of me LOL....now I have the projector setup here is some pics (being me and you have the same years) :

Stock HOUSING:

With Projector Housings:

as u can see the stock housings have alot of glare., but they r bright. With the projector's that don't have as much of a glare. I'm happy with mine.

OK. I understand that the little light is a "projector" right? And that my stock bulb goes into the bigger housing. You told me that the smaller one came with the bulb, but i'm wonderig what type of bulb it is.

Yea Eric, i remember. I still have burn spots in my tint! I'm gonna go with pretty much the same style lights that you're running, so I should be good to go.

I don't know what type of bulb it is. I have seen a thread(I think over on RPS, i'll search), about replacing the small projector with a HID light.

The black thing is the projector for those lights. I will search some this afternoon, I know someone replaced that with a HID ligth set up, while keeping the great cut-off line that those projector housings have.

Yeah that sounds about right. I'd take it apart to find out, but I'll leave that to Johnny when I ship it to him Lol. I don't want to mess it up

Johnny I plan on running a HID in the projector housing (black piece in the pic) I just haven't figured out what temp of bulb yet. I think a 6000k would work good....
