has anyone

I was looking thru an old minitruckin at my friends house the other day Im an offroad type of guy myself but to each his own anyway I saw that a guy had a third gen ranger with an explorer front end and it looked awesome I mean it had the fenders the bumper and valance along with the grill. I am going to be getting a 3rd gen soon as a side project and wanted to know if it would bolt right up or would it be heavy modification? I ve talked to a couple of his mini friends and they seem to think it would bolt right up but I thought I would check here as well any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

From what I know the 3rd gen Explorer is when they completely stopped being like Rangers. So more then likely it would take some pretty hefty modification as you'd have to custom mount everything. But I could be wrong...

no I mean a 3rd gen ranger I think it would be like the second gen explorer It was the explorers from 1995 to 2001 is what the ront end was and the ranger was 1993 to 1997 I believe would that work cause it really did look bada$$

Yeah. The look close.

Here's just the pictures on wiki of the 2nd gen explorer and 3rd gen ranger.

It looks like the bottom body lines match up close but you would have to do something with the top one.

i've seen people do it before.. actually a member named dirty on here.. he doesn't post anymore though.

i would imagine you would need:
new front fenders
new hood
header panel
headlights/grill
and of course valance and bumper
