guys with cb's and roll bars

Where do you have your antennas? will this interfere with reception? transmission? The brackets that are on my truck right now put them outside of the bed, and i would prefer to have them inside the bed.

right now i have the truck set up for dual's.. one antenna on the cb, and one for the police scanner.. although that depends on how small of a scanner i can get..

im not really sure what youre asking! so your roll bar has a spot to mount your CB antenna? That sounds good to me!

um, no.. the roll bar takes up alot of space.. so im wondering where they put there antennas on the bed.. and if the roll bar somehow interferes with reception or transmission

If I were you, I would try and find some antenna mounts that will hook to the roll bar! or weld some on

I have the "Alon Mount" too and LOVE it! best antenna mount for any pickup truck! One of the main reasons why I love it is because the Coax has to be at 18' and you arent supposed to coil up the slack. By mounting the antenna at the back, the 18' coax is the perfect length with no slack.

here's a link to the uniden scanner i use in my truck. it's small pre-programed or you can have a favorite chanel list. it's awsome and i got mine at wallyworld for $100.00 and with a magnetic mount antenna i get stuff over 80 miles away.

like pictured above I mounted mine on the light bar. Had an extra hole in the bar and mounted a "L" bracket underneath. No problems with it.
