Finally placed my HID order.

As you all know i have 6000k Hid heads.. and have been talking about ordering fogs..

Well i figured if i didnt do it now i never would so i order a set of H10 3000k HID lights for my fogs.

I am stoked and cant wait for them to get here.

And i got them shipped for 55.xx which is awesome!!!

here is the link if anyone wants to try them out:

http://ddmtuning.com/hidkihidbuhi.html

I got a slim ballast kit even which should be nice for the area where my fogs are.

My friend still has the DDM lights on his GTO with no problems. I want a set but repairs on the Ranger are more important.

I want pictures as soon as you get them installed. I've seen Shane and Trevor's lights, but I want all the pictures I can see. I wish someone had 4300k fogs...:(

Your the reason i went to DDM i saved that link from a prior thread and cant beat that price at ALL!!.

And i am hoping to have similiar results and no problems.

Yeah fix the ranger then get some. i need to get a driver fog light since my prior owner replaced it with a passenger one so its not straight shooting at this point.

All of the ballasts this company lists are plastic.. Which where i plan to mount i dont see an issue. Plus you can always cover the plastic with metal fairly easily. So to answer your question yes but i already have a plan for mounting it in a metal case.

those on the DDM site are pretty good, I'm interested in the Apexcone brand they sell I'm ready to go back to HID

In my opinion those plastic cases might be better because there is no issue of rust b/c the ballast usually don't get hot

I think so. But i also went for the SLIM ballast idea.. cause the slim ballasts will mount in a smaller area and are less likely to get damage being small.

Ohh and everyone becareful with fogs hids and 55w kits..

"What is the difference between 55w and 35w kits?
Our 55w HID kits are 40% brighter than the standard 35w kits. The 55W system ballasts are about 1 cm longer than the 35W ballasts. 55w kits tend to wash out some of the color of the HID bulb due to the light output( for example, a 55w 8000k will look similar in color to a 35w 6000k kit).55w Kits are not recommended for smaller fog light housings because they tend to concentrate a large amount of heat in a small area."
