Door/Window trim removal/replacement?

On a 2002, how hard/easy/expensive is it to replace the trim piece that sits along the top of the main door, next to the window (runs from mirror to door handle)

Just to make sure, are you referring to the trim piece seen in my pic that is missing around the window?

Sorry, no, the piece in your photo that has been worn on the top edge (revealing bare metal) The sill piece your arm would rest on if the window was open and you had your arm out of it.

Gotcha. On mine both of those pieces lift straight up, but not sure if that’s normal or not. I got 2 newer ones from the junkyard and were very easy to install.

Alright so it seems to be called the "Door Weatherstrip" - Part 6L5Z-1021453-AA (drivers side (left))

Seems replaceable and recommended to remove the mirror first. I don't know any other details about replacement though.

I did not remove the mirror. Once the window was rolled down it just snapped upward to remove. There were no clips. To reinstall though, you will put the front end (towards mirror), in first, then push down on the back end of the trim, but it doesn't look like the mirror needs removed.

All this however, I can only speak on mine as long as nothing was modified or broken from the previous owner. It appeared quite simple though.
