99% of ppl are unhappy when rocks get flung through headlight cases and ding windshields as well, they're there for a reason. I just took mine off, it looks better.....I hated to do it though.

Especially if you have a/t type tires, lil cinders get stuck in those suckers all the time. My big meater tires only fling stuff if I want em to =]

Should be the next mod if that beast hits the dirt often.

I have a fiberglass bed, but those suckers held alot of crap in the crevices. Leave it to ford to find ways to rust a truck out. Like those damn fender flares

my rear mud flaps sorta...um...well modded themselves off....and my front ones are super soft and flexible now.....i wish i had different flares because my mud flaps are part of my flares and it looks weird to be "missing" a corner or the flare...

you should leave the rear brackets on to support the fenders.. if the corner get pushed up.. well.. theres nothing holding it from going in..

my first mod was also taking the mud flaps off.
