Could you get me a most recent pic of your truck. Nothing fancy just a whole side pic. Thanks

i like superliner ftw. havnt used it personally, but worked at a carlot that had a truck w/ it. out of the 10 trucks that had several different bed liners, the superliner was the best. the trucks were on the lot the same amount of time and the superliner was the only one that wasnt faded. it was also harder in texture unlike the rhino or linex. the linex liked to peel really bed and didnt take abuse very well

if the line-x was peeling it wasnt applied correctly. ive had it on my truck and trailer for a few years now and its held up very well considering the abuse it takes. its very tough and its never peeled on me. hell the line-x in my trailer held up to the studs and carbide runners from my snowmobile. any liner you put on anything will need a uv protective coating, just like paint. everything needs protection from the sun.

I guess it depends on who has it done first! On a serious note, I'll probably go a different direction anyway.

My sole reason for wanting to have my rockers sprayed is to keep from getting rock chips in the paint. Nevertheless, I’m having a hard time justifying $500+ for something I am unsure of anyway. So I think I’m going to go with some 3M protection film instead. I will just install it in the areas that are prone to rock chips allowing me to keep the nice and shiny stock paint and save about $450+ in the process.

I was the same 2 years ago. I bought a roll of that clear protective tape used in under all the handles and on the rockers but now its time for me to upgrade

I had my box lined for 2yrs and it looks like it was sprayed yesterday, if it was peeling that was from crappy prep work. When I bought my 99 ranger some moron that had it decided to herculiner it without sanding it at all and I got the privelige to redo it all. Linex is the best sprayed liner IMO. I have had rhinoling in the silverado and it faded to hell and I tore it to hell dragging motors outta the back.

I have yet to see any line-x that matches perfect though. My buddy has red line-x in his ram and it hasn't faded or left any marks on it

Hmm... I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do the color LineX (the same guy who did Carls Jeep) I emailed the guy to see if he could go any lower and I'd help since I'd be over 100 miles away from home, out of a car and I guess it will take all day. Lets hope for the best.

Heres some pics of the truck...

It will be from this body line down and the flat surface above the front wheels

Tell me what you guys think or maybe if some body wants to they can photoshop that part black.
Off topic but, what kind of rims and specs are those black rims in the first 2 pics?

The black rims are 16X7 Cragar soft 8's with factory Ford caps. Looks like a cop car??? They are sitting in my garage since I'm running the 32's for now.

$900 for that? I can think of a few things I'd rather spend that kind of cash on.

I'm sure you can get it done cheaper......or better yet, DIY for next to nothing.

I just came back from Yipes the guy told me since I was there before and had them tint and bedline my truck before it would be $550 with tax (suppose to be $650 w/o tax) He'll let me mask off what I want and what I want sprayed. The only draw back is that it'll be BLACK instead of the color. I email the guy in NH again to see if he would take off the $900 and he hasnt replyed. What do you think Black or wait and see about color LineX?

Black will look good too, and you won't have to worry about the blue fading into another color. I say go with black and save a few bucks.
