Clear Headlight Problem

New headlights on my 2k ranger

So i finally got my headlights in and im in the garage trying to take off the orignal ones and i cant get those damn clips off. Does anyone know of a way i can take them off? I looked on the forum and didnt find a whole lot. Ill be posting pics later on . . . for right now im stumped . . . any help would be appreciated.

They dont come off. Hook your finger around the tab and pull up towards the sky and they will pull up and the headlight will come out.

huh?. . . . i broke one of the clips doing that . . .after i got that off theres one thats even deeper and something on the side . . . has anyone done this before. . ,. i cant figure it out.

Unless they changed it all you have to do on the 04 is pull those 2 tabs up and the head light will pull out.

na my truck is a 2000 . . . i figured it out tho . . . just bent the clips down and ran a hanger thru the hole, and pulled on it with some pliers. After a lot of scratching my head i finally got it . . . ill post pics up soon

98-00 uses multiple clips to hold them on, similar to the 01+, but the 01+ uses one big clip, where 98-00 uses multiple small ones i believe.

imo....doesn't match the truck. Too....uh.....unmatching? lol....idk how to describe it. But hell, if it works for you, that's all that matters. Maybe if the grille was black and the bumpers were black and the wheels were black, it'd flow better.

looks good to me, but I agree paint the bumper and grill black to match. Then it would look killer.

Thanks . . . yeah i plan on painting the whole truck black later on, for now i will paint the grille and bumper black to see how it will look. thanks for the suggestions. ill post pics up of the black grille and bumper.
