Black low-pro toolbox

Hey do you guys know of any manufacturers that make Black Low Profile Truck Toolboxes for the Rangers? Also, do you have pictures of them on your trucks? I know of there are a couple people on here that are running them.

Delta has a Champion box that is exactly what your looking for, i know the have a mid-size box but i dont know about compact. I looked on UWS site and found a low-pro and a black but not a low-pro black box. I think i'm just going to go with the Delta Champion Low-Pro Toolbox. Time to start saving!

If i can hijack this, has anyone seen a low profile box with a tonnaue cover? i want a tool box but hate the big ones, but all the low profile ones ive seen have the handle below the bed line, thus a tonnaue would cover it...and i wouldnt settle on not having tonnaue cover, i already have the toolbox size cover

The Delta Model Number is #355000 for a Compact Truck Chest, thats the one I think im gonna go with.

EDIT: Heres a link to info http://www.truckstuffusa.com/champio...stbydelta.html

The average price I found between the Champion and the Pro models are 350-400. Time to start saving up some money haha.

See i dont know, i like the chrome and black look my truck has right now so I might go with a polished to set that off. I do like the chests that sit inside the bed, but for the money I might just go with a low-pro instead.

you can always get the polished and then paint it black later...

chests dont mount to the rails...they mount to the bed floor. Crossovers mount to the rails.

I too have a Delta champion...LOVE IT. Only thing I don't like is that extra "kick" to clear other trucks' inner fenders. Rangers don't need that extra hump. Other than that I love it!! I am considering a tonneau cover...but in order to open the toolbox, you'll have to open the tonneau.

I only got it for $220 at Schucks/Kragen/Checker...same people.

if you get an over the rail....you don't have to drill any holes. Except maybe the box it's self....use "J-bolts" to mount it.

I've got a black, low-pro UWS box. I can't remember the price, but I've had it a few years and most of the black is GONE off the top. Apparently, it was some sort of plastic coating that didn't like to stick when the box got hot instead of paint or powdercoat like I thought when I bought it. Eventually, I got tired of it peeling up in small places and powerwashed most of it off the top. The sides and even the sides of the top still look great. I'm planning to put some sort of bedliner on the top whenever I get around to it. That's another option, buy a cheaper low-pro box and herculine it or get it sprayed.
