stop the violent shaking of the passanger seat at 59/60-65/67 mph... I cannot find what would cause this... I have read like 150 threads about vibrations and there is no conclusions... New tires, alignment, balanced, 15k on universals only, new driverside hub assembly, 4 new shocks, passes inspection.

Once I fix the mechanical stuff, I am thinking of headlights, corners, and tails. I want some lights in the front... like 4 of them, but I don't know where to look for these, i'm not trying to drop tons of money into mods. I am thinking of a body lift too...

So... I think I have decided what I want to do with this truck.

I am thinking 06+ tailights.
06+ Corners
Paint lights on the inside black, or get the euro lights off ebay.
06+ Logos
New grill... maybe the 06+ Style
Maybe... body lift... small one 1.5" or so.

Get some chrome on the side views.

I really want some more lights in the front... really for just driving though the death snows we get upstate here. Where could I find a set of 4 fog lamps like some of you all have?

What other ideas would you guys suggest?
I really wanted the 06 when I got the 05... so maybe ill make mine look like one kind of!

Just go with a 3". Everyone that goes with a 1 ends up going with a 3 in the long run.

^^Only Mike, Scotty, and myself have went from 1" to 3". 3 out of probably a dozen doesn't mean "everybody". lol.

The 1" did what I wanted it to do....clear 32's better. But..eventually I wanted something bigger....on 5's.

Sounds like a good plan, Nick. If your gonna do the chrome mirror caps, I think you should look into the chrome door and tailgate handles too! Now.....get to parts ordering!!!

I don't think the chrome accessories will look good IMO, at least not on a silver truck. I like the black and silver contrast.

Please don't load the truck up with stick on chrome. So ghetto... lol

The truck looks much better with the new tires. How about new front brake pads that don't leave so much dust?
The other ideas are good, but I would probably wait on the body lift until your next set of tires.

Ceramic pads are awesome, no brake dust at all

I put on all new front brakes actually... with ceramic pads. NAPA's finest new line of 24.99 brake pads for the truck.

haha, and this will be done later on in the year... I will post it up though when I put new stuff on. It's just i'm on the broke side of the world now. Work has been non existant this month... hopefully jan and feb. are better months and they give me some play cash.

I got 90% of the mechanical stuff fixed.

Clear corners will give you cleaner look, especially if you get chrome bulbs, but I prefer the black headlights and corners to give it a meaner look. I would tint your windows, get a cargo light, and cut your mudflaps down to the "double thick" part (you'll have a hole in your fender if you remove them).

It looks 100% better from just swapping tires...

If you are wanting some more lights, you should go get you 2 Hella 500s and mount them behind the grille. There is plenty of room for them and it looks great when you get done. I did it to my 05 in just a few hours. Looked and worked great.

I wish tinting was allowed in NY.. it's like only 30% dark max, non reflective. The cops in this state are dicks about it. On my old car I had a 70% dark tint and I didnt even know there was a such tint law... I got a ton of tickets in 2 weeks time... enough to remove them. I miss tinted windows they really helped with the glare from the frozen snow piles and high sun we get from time to time. Maybe I'll do it anyways.... How dark is 30% dark 70% translucent... anyone have it on their truck?

Alright If you do the headlight mod (silver Trucks i think can pull it off) use the 06+ corners and leave the silver reflector part silver and paint the rest black.
Fx4wannabe01

Change to 06+ tails

Change to the Super Duty 3rd brake light off the 08s

Change that Grille to the newer style grille

Paint your Valiance in the front with Krylon Fusion Black
And Paint/PowderCoat your wheels Black

I just picked this 06 up getting the mechanical links worked out at the moment. And just put the tires on, 245 75 16, got a good deal on them. And has a hard tonneau cover paint matched for it. Any suggestions?
