back rack flareside

I have always wanted a back rack for my truck and finally got around to picking one up. Since I have a flareside they don't make a bolt on version so I had to modify one to fit. It was pretty simple only had to drill 2 holes on each bed rail and shrink down the bar that goes across. I just cut out a section and welded the end cap back on so it looks nicer then an open hole. I forgot to take pics during because I was in a rush to finish. I have to take it off when it gets nicer out and repaint it because I just did a very quick coat of primer and paint to keep it from rusting. My fast paint job is noticeable if you look for it. Well here are pics and all the white stuff is just dust from drilling not paint and the last pic you can see the section I had to remove from each side to make it fit.

Did mine pretty much the same way.
Cut down a std bed rack to fit the bed.
The positioning of the cross bars is a little high allowing for a bed box but no one notices.

looks good.
