That looks sweet, nice job, although the truck isn’t high enough or are the tires big enough… lol.

Hey thanks guys. I have a couple fresh pics to share with y'all. I drove the mini to work Friday. Took a few pics. Yes, it is still warm in Dallas. The High Voltage equipment in the background, that is my responsibility at TI.

Thanks guys. Minitrucks are alot of fun to drive too. I used mine three times today. I went to the post office this morning, then to Starbucks, and before the SX race I went to get Redbulls for the Jagerbombs. Its my lil grocery getter.

Yo veNom, they are Street Scene mirrors painted to match. They come black from SS.

Long time bump, But what exactly are the inserts attached to? I was thinking of doing this mod (because, lets face it. its sweet)
But i don't want to pull my grill out just to look at the back side, and my head doesn't fit in the space there.

Thanks for the compliment and the bump. It has already been a little over one year since I finished the mod. Time flys! But, to answer your question. The grill insert is just sandwiched in. Because T Rex discontinued this model (behind the grill insert.) It does not move. The bumper piece I made some brackets to hold it in place.

With your 4x4 grill you could keep the vertical bars and cut out the center bar that the emblem is on. Then put the emblem on the billet if you wanted. Its not the easiest mod to do but high risk, high reward. Just take your time cutting the back side out.

I was thinking of leaving the vertical bars in, and putting honeycomb in all the open spaces.
So i'd have to get the old ones out.
