35% Tint on front...whats it look like?

I like my tint to certain extents, like when I'm w/ my g/f I like how people can't see in my truck while I'm w/ her. But the one thing that I do hate is @ night turning a corner trying to read a sign & BOOM it's gone. So I have to pretty much down the windows @ night.

My previous car had 20% all around so I kno what its like and 20% allowed me to see out the windows fine at night with no problems. And Ive been lookin at pics online with 35% and its just not dark enough for me...im lookin for the sporty look.

Thanks for everyones tips on tint and offroad...I didnt realize the hazards but when I attempt at offroading this summer it will def always be in the daytime so I dont think tint will affect me on that aspect.

i find myself at night doing the same thing near corners.. ill sometimes have to crack the windows a bit to see for traffic, etc.. at stop signs and what not.. the lack of vision at night wasn't something i had even thought about when i was getting my tint done, but, i've learned ways to adapt to it as best i can

I don't know why, but I feel like chiming in here:

My tint on my windshield is somewhere around 40% (just enough to take the edge off of headlights at night, but not hinder the vision there), the front sides about 28%, and the rears about 5%. I have done nighttime wheeling, and the tint makes a huge difference (with the exception fo the very light tint on the windshield). At Centralia, and on my prior excursions, the windows were definitely down when I was doing anything other than moving forward, and about halfway down otherwise.

We were actually wheeling at night the one time and it was low teens out. That kinda sucked, but was fun at the same time. Tint made a difference though.. So just be careful.

That, and the constant (and often weird) conversations on the CB's helped too.. :D

That, and there was always the getting out and freezing your **** off to bull**** as well.. :D

I have 5% in the rear and backing out of Kimberly's driveway sucks. I have to guess where the road is with no street lamps. But somehow i always pull it off.

20% on the sides hasnt really bothered me any except at night if i try to catch a road sign out of the corner of my eye.
