Do these things even help that much? If they do, could the tranny keep up with the added power?

 

Yep it reprograms tranny too

 

friend of mine put a chip in his 08 sport, apparently he dropped to like 10-12 mpg at best, had it for like 2-3 weeks and took it out

 

are programmers for Manual trans too?

 

Will it work in a 3.slow?

why dont you guys get the part number, search a little and answer you own questions?

 

the programmer programs a/f ratios, idle speeds, spark advance... ect, it also happens to change the shift points of the automatic, to compensate for the torque band change... it's hard for an electronic device to change a manual transmission's shift point
