Weird 1st to 2nd gear change every morning.
So for the past few week i will start it, back out of the garage and park and let it run a couple minutes then i will drive and when i pull out into the road it will hold onto first way longer then usual, and then shift roughly to 2nd and then no more issue's. I can stop and go again and it will be normal, its like the first time it's weird then never again. I going easy on the throttle to mind you. Also keep in mind the trans was replaced 1300 or so miles ago, and there are no other issue's regarding the trans.

Assume an automatic?
What year?
I assume also that the problem is that few weeks old and outside temp hasn't changed that much to require longer warm up for same trans fluid temps?
Hard shifts after 1995 would be computer in safe mode do to temp or other worries it has with engine sensors.
Harder shifts are "better" from the stand point of clutches and bands in the transmission, smooth shifts cause more wear if there is a problem in the engine or trans systems.
Temp in engine seem to be warming up the same?
Any engine issues?
If trans is still under warranty I would have shop do a pressure test, and check the bands(brakes) to make sure they are still adjusted correctly.
Lots of things you can forget to tighten when rebuilding anything, I remember my first lesson in this from my first stingray bicycle..........did a wheelie, at that moment the realization of forgetting to tighten the front axle nuts popped into my head, as the front wheel rolled away............and there's more but that was the first I remember, lol.
