upgrading my slush box....
Well I bought a ton of stuff for my worn out slush box. I cant wait to get it all in and see the result.
Here is the list.
Two different shift kits to achieve the best results
Servo
Servo cover
Valve Body
Valve Body seperator plate
Lube guard to protect against heat
New Ford Torque Converter
Ford Filter and Gasket
Band Adjuster Locknuts
EPC
All shift solenoids (1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5)
Trans Fluid
mechanical fan clutch, no more efan so i can keep it really cool.
4.88s for more bottom end...
I think that is it, I cant wait, should drive like a different truck.
Result of all this will be.
Firm Shifts through every gear
The power actually getting applied to the ground for once
downshifts through every gear
keeps line pressure up which helps with shifting
i am sure some other things.
BIG thanks to NicksterSVT on part selection and supplies.
So I'm broke again, fun stuff.

the actual install yes. but Nick is building up the whole valve body and setting it all up. I paid for that but its a little beyond me. So what i still have to do is drop the trans and install the valve body. I am a bit nervous... lol
I will take as many pictures as possible and let you guys know if its really that hard or worth it.
