Transmission problems
Hello all. I know I rarely post here but I rarely have any issues with my Ranger.
This time, however, the issue is with my g/f's Ranger.
It's a 94 XLT auto, roughly 135K miles.
Instead of trying to explain what she says is wrong, I'll just copy and paste the email she sent me:
I barely got my truck to work today, not sure how I'm getting it home. If I stop at a red light and go to go forward again it doesn’t work. I have to throw it in park, then drive, then park, then drive, then neutral, then drive again to get it to finally go forward. Same with reverse. I'm afraid I'm going to cause an accident....I don't want to just leave it here though. Would you (DeCaff2007) be able to come out and follow me home? At least if it's you behind me I can just drive with my 4-ways on.
Tell me a fluid/filter change might make a difference here, or am I in for a tranny swap in the no so distant future?
Thanks in advance.
