transmission bolt?

weird question, can anyone possibly tell me the size and thread pitch of the bolt that hold the transmission and the housing extension(piece that bolt from tranny to tcase) together? I kinda need a few and cant exactly pull one to find out what size it is. if there is a way for someone to find out, i would greatly appreciate it!

oh i have the 5r44e and bw1354.

Jake....I'll check it out for ya. I've got my extra trans and two extra tailhousings complete with all the bolts. No guarentees they'll be the same as the auto truck, but they sure as hell should be! lol. If you want, I really have no use for 14 of these bolts...addy and a few bucks for shipping and I'll send howmany you need.

Jake. I never got around to getting to Ace for ya to compare the size..

But I can tell you this:

definately metric. bigger than 8mm...I'd say it's 9 or 10 mm, thread is 1.25, length is about 1 1/16"(idk the metric measurement), and on our trucks, they are flange bolts.

Hope I helped!

Shane

*i'll try and get to ace tomorow or something..I've gotta pick a few things up.

sweeeet. Like I said...stockers are flanged, but all the flanged ones i've seen that are non-OEM have huge lands, and I honestly dont think there's the room for them. so plain old hex heads would do the trick.
