Tranny slipping......

A few weeks ago, I noticed that my back-up lights weren't working. Blown fuse. Everytime I went into reverse, it would blow the fuse. Checked ALL wiring, all good, no grounding out anywhere. So i just left the fuse out.. No big deal. The fuse is also used for Electronic shift, DLR, Transmission control switch, and vacuum hub lock. OK, So now my tranny is slipping. Usually during hi-way speeds. I replaced the fuse, and guess what. Doesn'y blow it anymore, but now the tranny is slipping. Whats theTrans. control switch, and where is it located? Could this be the problem? How about the Electronic shift? One guy said that it sounded like there was a bad ground somewhere, and that he would have to check everything. (65 bucks an hour) HELP! BTW the fuse is #27 on the fuseblock. Also, i saw in my owners manuel, that theres an Electronic shift relay, and electronic shift control module in the fuse block under the hood. could it be one of those? Any way of testing them?
