Question about gear ratios and bigger tires...

feels like stock. I think I notice a slight increase in pedal pressure on mine when I drive another manual ranger. What's different is when it starts to engage, it's a shorter distance on the pedal til it grabs, and when it grabs, it grabs. The half engage/half disengage is alot shorter and faster than stock. After break-in, it's neck snapping shifts if you want it to be.
LOOOOOOOOOOVE mine. It's one grabby som bit(h! Slips when I need it to, that's something that from what I've read the Centerforce doesn't like that. I've got almost 50k on it and just it it out a few weeks back for the engine swap...still got tons of friction material left in it.
I got it from a local shop I found through Spec's website of distributers.

Spec Stage II is the shiot - hell of a good clutch, when I put mine in it was like night and day - power shifting kicks ***.. and it grabs teh clutch damn well - I can actually bog the engine down faster then the clutch slips when in 4 high going up a steep hill, which is a good thing - I hate it when the engine is spinning and the clutch is slipping - bad thing!

Hey guys I am lifting my 99 4wd and it has 245/75/16's stock and I will be going to either a 32x11.50x15 or a 33x12.50x15 I am just worried about my power loss and wanted to know with 4:10's now what gears should I have running 33's? And does that mean I need to change something in the front as well? Thanks a lot for any information!
here is it with 32x11.5x15 bfg a/t
Honestly that set up ^^^ ... great all around prefect set up for back to forth work driving and not needing any off road ability at all...
ok here is the truck with 3" body lift 33x12.5x15 and 15x10
Honestly the drop in power is so bad with the 3.0L you want to die but you can tell a little... his truck still has TONS of *****. isnt perfect on freeway but can still pass people and such... Justin has more problems at the dunes just due to power issues then I with the 4.0L but still can make it everywhere I can go... his truck is the red one in the pic with mine...
his truck still gets about 18-20mpg in the city even with the 33's and body lift... with my 4.0L i get around 16... i think alot of my problem is the tired slush box behind the 4.0L....
personally I say either way is a good route just pic what you want...
