Too me a Lvl II case is the only option. They can be had for $400 all day long and if you look they can be had for much less. I think by the time you get an explorer case and parts, then hack up all your really rare expensive Lvl II stuff to make it work then you just cost yourself more than what a Lvl II case costs. Have you used car-parts.com? have you looked to find a case thats still in the truck? As I said most yards will give you all the other parts associated with a twin stick swap for free with the T-case. I know all that stuff is worth $500 as I just sold my spare twin stick interior setup. Buy a case with that stuff thrown in, sell the spare parts, sell your old case to someone that will rebuild it, and you might end up making money off the deal.

how about pulling your t-case out and apart to see whats really going on....it may be something simple. And it seems like your gonna eventually replace it at worst case scenario.

the plan right now is to pull it out and see whats going on....i was talking to my teacher at school today(i go to school for auto tech) and he said that its rebuildable so i'm searching for a rebuild kit for it
