No drive??

Alright sooo Im on my way into work and I'm in 2wd, I had to turn 4wd drive on cause Philly streets are never plowed. Well I go to park in some snow ... I'd say 14 inches of it and I get stuck. I do the reverse forward reverse forward to rock out. Well now I have no drive ... Only reverse and 2nd... I have a auto trany.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Do I need to get it rebuilt? What the he'll is wrong? Help please!

Auto's aren't my cup of tea either, but I'd take a shot in the dark and say it took a dump.

Rocking it forward reverse, if you were rough, is all it takes to do that.

Speaking from experience, I did the same thing to a a4ld in the woods.

Sounds like first gear is gone. You can lock it into Second, which gets you going. To get by I would just start off in 2, and then shift it up into overdrive to see if it keeps driving once you hit a higher speed.
