need help with 5speed 4x4 swap

need help with 5speed 4x4 swap

the truck:1990
dana 35 and 8.8 4.0 v6

as many of you know it is hard to find my truck with a 5 speed for its year.
my question is is there any other 5speed trannys out there i can just plug in and drive or can i get one outa a 92 4.0 v6 2wd and change the tail shaft,i just need guidance really bad,dont quite know what will bolt to my motor and my transfer case at the same time and work nicely.

anybody have any information or part ideas the can shoot my way????

i dont know what my transfercase will and will not bolt up to

i think any 97 down with a 4.0 and 4wd will work.

thanks for your input anyone else chime in with confermation??? downey how do you like the stick shift??have you ever felt what the automatics felt like

i moved jasons truck and it feels like an auto. i will tell you this i tow damn near 5000 lbs with my manual tranny and mine has well over 150k on it and it takes a beating. get a good clutch. mine only has 40k on it and im going to need a new one soon from all the heavy towing

thats good to hear :) do you know if your transfer case and mine are the same???? thats the only thing thats really scaring me cause i know what my tranny is and i know what my motor is<i just dont know it the transfer cases will swap over years<your 4x4 isnt maual selecting huh??its electric???
