long shift to and from low range

i have and electronic shift transfer case in my 2006 fx4, it takes what i think is a particularly long time to shift into, or out of low range. is this normal?

i haven't actually timed the shift, but shouldn't if shift quickly?

You might be flipping a switch or pressing a button, but there's still mechanical parts that have to move around which don't happen in the blink of an eye.

this is the only 4x4 i've owned that has been an electronic shift transfer case, just wasn't sure what to think of that...

the real reason i was wondering is as follows, the truck has 7000 kilometers and a couple weeks left on warranty, and i want to get any bugs ironed out before it costs me $$$.

thanks guys!

15-30 seconds is normal depending on temperature.

I don't know what you think a long time is.
