i was until you said jeep driveshaft.......

what you could do is have your driveshaft guy take the end off of a '97 Ranger driveshaft, and then put it on the jeep end or vise versa and make the saft the correct length......then buy Jeep u-joints for 1 end and Ranger u-joints for the other...

Neapco part number

This is the part number I used to get the part I think you are talking about. N2-83-287x There is a new part number. The dealer can cross referance to the new number. I have a picture of the driveshaft but can't post it. I could E-mail it.

email it to me if you could.

zabeard@gmail.com

i went to the dealer they cannot get that old part or so they say. i guess its the same part number as the one i have right now, so it would just be easier to find a 97 tcase

the other thought is some of the guys at work are talking about making one for me. so they might just machine a piece from raw stock.

It's a Neapco part. Contact them to find a dealer in your area. http://www.neapco.com

Yeah just the adapter, custom driveshafts are not cheap.

The superlift one is over 400, so it beats that price too.

and not to mention i dont have to take the t-case apart. the item is discontinued as well according to their site i got the last one.

If i couldn't get it i was just going to order another Superlift shaft and have them put a longer spline shaft in it for more travel. that would have been 500+

yea i know custom shafts are not cheap since there is so much percision in them......but $110 for that little adaptor? they must be making a good profit off of them....

I'm sure that is part of the reason the superlift shaft costs 400, but everything has a price, i want 4wd, this is the easiest and best way to do it, IMO

U joint adapter? its just that piece you see all clean in those pics.

The Ujoints should be the same size. if not ill change to a different Double cardon unit.
