chatter and hop taking off in 1st gear

hey everyone,

i have a 2010 sport 4x4. i have a torsion key leveling kit installed. there is only 23,000kms on the truck. it is a standard transmission and when i am in 1st gear at a dead stop and take off letting the clutch out im getting a chatter and almost a hop like axel wrap. my buddy believes that there might be a problem with the clutch but i have no idea what the issue may be. ford is saying that they wont warranty the clutch if its worn but i have a hard time believing that its worn out after 23,000kms and want to charge me 1400 bucks if it is. they wont proceed to check it unless i agree to the terms. someone told me it could be axel wrap, the clutch plate, the drive shaft, the diff or the throw out bearing.

has anyone had this problem before??
if so can you let me know what it may have been so i have a better understanding and dont get screwed over by ford.

thanks so much!!!

sounds like the slave may be leaking brake fluid onto the clutch friction face. that will make it chatter a lot

More likely the rear main is leaking a little oil and its getting slung onto the clutch etc. Check your PCV valve if you have one. (Not sure if the 2010 rangers do, i know my 07 F150 didn't) A clogged PCV can cause the rear main to spit a little oil.
