98 ranger 2.5 5speed tranny/ clutch noise

OK let me better explain from scratch (was on my phone the first time)

I get a slight moan when letting out the clutch from a dead stop (almost like the sound you get when youre at a stop sign and inch forward when your brakes are just barely letting the wheels free). It does not happen all the time and seems to be only off a slightly hard take off. If I ease into it it doesnt happen.

My clutch seems to let out at the top of the pedal but seems to all be there (I was thinking maybe air in the line? im not sure.)

Also once and a while (usually more toward a harder acceleration) I will get a nasty clunk (sounds like a bunch of broken sh** knocking around (again shifting into 2nd). Im unsure, broken clutch spring?

can someone please help me diagnose whats going on. I have still been driving it but been making sure to be light on the gas pedal and really ease my clutch pedal.

May I add that sometimes (not all the time) it is harder to shift into gear. Its very easy to with motor off.

Also if I go through the gears, say in a parking lot and they are hard then push in the clutch and cycle through all the gears it becomes easier again.
